Hello, my name is Sylvia. My goal is to help you take time out of your busy life to focus on just yourself. My true desire is to help busy families learn how to find their center and calmer parenting approaches leading to a path of wellness and getting back to nature. I think this can be accomplished by teaching parents about the power and healing that massage can provide, which they can then incorporate into their own lives and pass on to their children. I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2017. I specialize in myofascial, Swedish and Deep Tissue massage, but I am continuously expanding my knowledge in the massage field and holistic lifestyle. Currently I’ve added waxing services to my list of options as well. Some of the inspirational activities I enjoy are barefoot nature walks, cooking wholesome meals with my kids, gardening, and watching my family grow together. This year, we are learning about growing herbs, keeping bees, landscaping, the benefits of different garden produce, Bach Flowers, and canning our own food. If you have any tips or tricks, I would love to hear them or I am willing to share my experience with you as well.
Josiah has always been interested in finding ways to live in passionate connection to his philosophy. As a young man it was in martial arts that he found those connections; studying Tae Kwon Do and Ninjitsu. While he finished his Bachelor’s degree in Biology Education at UW-Green Bay he stumbled upon the world of massage and yoga. In 2002 he graduated from Blue Sky School of Massage and embarked on his current path. Under the tutelage of Blair Lewis and Pandit Rajmani Tigunait of the Himalayan Institute, Josiah studied a living philosophy of yoga intensely with his wife Monica for the next seven years. Living and working as a massage teacher, therapist, yoga teacher, consultant, and facilities manager gave him the experiences needed to found Back To Bliss. Currently he is diving into the project of online course building and community development.
Reiki Master, Hypnotherapist, Life Coach, Co-Owner
Monica felt a call to become a Hypnotherapist because she wanted to help people on a deeper soul level.
“I saw people wanting to make changes, but they didn’t know how or what steps to take. When I learned that with hypnotic suggestions you can change the story that your subconscious mind is telling you, you can change past trauma, habit patterns and the way we think of ourselves, I had to learn this! It was the answer I was looking for to help give people control to make big changes”
Monica enrolled at The South West Institute Of Healing Arts (SWIHA) and completed her program for Clinical Hypnotherapy and Life Coaching. She is so excited to bring these modalities to her community and to offer virtual appointments. These new certificates combined with her 20 years of experience as a hairstylist, reiki master, yoga teacher and relationship guru make her a force to be reckoned with.
